Cloud Foundations Engineer (AWS)

Salary: $136,400–$204,600 USD base pay annually, with potential bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Build and operate secure, resilient AWS infrastructure for enterprise systems, developer platforms, and data services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and repetitive operational work using Terraform, Python, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop reusable cloud capabilities covering networking, IAM, compute, storage, and shared services.
• Administer Kubernetes/EKS environments, containerized applications, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps workflows.
• Improve observability, governance, security, and operational reliability using tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Partner with Networking, Security, Identity, Database, Platform, Data, and Application Engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant experience building and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes administration, Python or Bash automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of AWS networking, including VPCs, routing, VPNs, security groups, and load balancing.
• Experience administering Linux systems, using Git, and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, networking, compute, and storage.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and ability to collaborate in Agile teams.
