Sr. Analyst, IT Quality Assurance

Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid arrangement with 1–2 days per week on-site at Toronto-81 Bay

What you will do

• Plan, publish, and execute test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, automation scripts, and testing reports.
• Identify required test data and environments for mobile, web, API, user experience, and accessibility testing.
• Track quality metrics, testing estimates, financials, risks, defects, and delivery outcomes.
• Manage defects through resolution and support compliance remediation and adherence to quality standards.
• Review technical designs and recommend improvements to testing coverage, automation, processes, policies, and tools.
• Coordinate testing with project managers, business analysts, developers, vendors, and quality engineering peers.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance, quality engineering, or software testing on complex technology initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with REST API testing, pytest, Robot Framework, Appium, and Selenium.
• Familiarity with API testing and service virtualization tools such as Parasoft.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Agile, development, and quality engineering platforms.
• Ability to communicate clearly, solve problems, guide teams through influence, and provide technical and process leadership.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, including Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience using GitHub Copilot and other generative artificial intelligence solutions to improve testing efficiency.
