Location: Hybrid; available locations: United States

Salary: $187,000–$257,000 annually for San Francisco Bay Area hires; $178,000–$245,000 annually for New York City, Washington, and California hires excluding the Bay Area; $162,000–$223,000 annually for Colorado hires.

What you will do

• Partner with Corporate Development and Legal as the primary People representative throughout deal kickoff, due diligence, and closing.
• Lead HR due diligence covering target-company culture, compensation structures, compliance risks, and technical talent density.
• Assess equity structures, retention pools, offer letters, and cash or stock retention incentives with Finance and Legal.
• Coordinate Recruiting, Compensation, People Operations, Immigration, Mobility, Payroll, IT, and other functions to sequence M&A workstreams.
• Build scalable infrastructure, checklists, automated workflows, and playbooks for the M&A engine.
• Lead post-close integration, change management, organizational mapping, and day-one onboarding for acquired teams.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience in HR M&A.
• Experience building 0-to-1 processes in fast-moving and unstructured environments.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to handle confidential information and compressed, unpredictable timelines.
• Understanding of employment law fundamentals, high-growth compensation structures, and visa and immigration complexities.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and influence-without-authority skills.
• Ability to work in the United States in a hybrid arrangement; the role may involve access to information protected by U.S. export control laws.
