Sr Model Maker (Medical Devices)

Location: Audubon, Pennsylvania, United States; first shift, on-site position.

What you will do

• Fabricate models, prototypes, test parts, and low-volume instruments and implants using CNC and manual mills, lathes, and EDM equipment.
• Support product development from initial concept through design, prototyping, testing, verification, validation, manufacturing, and product introduction.
• Participate in design meetings and brainstorming sessions, contributing creative improvements to existing designs.
• Calibrate measurement equipment and machines in accordance with the quality system.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and servicing, and maintain a clean work environment.
• Assist with manufacturing process and tooling development while following applicable company, industry, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in machining, tool and die making, or model making; medical device experience is preferred.
• Experience with CNC and manual mills, lathes, and EDM machines.
• High school diploma required.
• Proven design skills and the ability to improve existing designs.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Mastercam or related CAM experience.
