Costpoint Financial Systems Analyst – Core CP Analyst (Deltek Costpoint)

Location: Remote within the United States; U.S. citizenship required. Flexibility to support month-end processing, system upgrades, and occasional evening or weekend activities is required.

What you will do

• Provide functional support for Deltek Costpoint users and troubleshoot system issues.
• Support month-end close activities, batch processing, and related financial system processes.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and IT to investigate and resolve application defects.
• Assist with testing, validation, upgrades, enhancements, and system changes.
• Maintain process documentation, procedures, user support materials, and Costpoint master data.
• Support SOX, audit, security, compliance, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting financial systems, ERP applications, or related business processes.
• Experience using or supporting Deltek Costpoint, including its functionality, screens, and batch processing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, customer service, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, collaborate across business and technical teams, and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience in a government contracting environment.
• Experience with Costpoint upgrades, testing, or system enhancements.
• Familiarity with SOX controls, audits, or compliance requirements.
• Basic SQL or PL/SQL knowledge.
• Experience developing process documentation, procedures, or user training materials.
