Data Solutions Architect

Salary: $155,000–$165,000 per year, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Translate business vision, goals, and requirements for data analytics projects or products into technical specifications.
• Design fit-for-purpose data solutions using appropriate architectural patterns.
• Direct data architecture planning, development, updates, and enhancements.
• Operationalize data and analytics initiatives and extend the next generation of the data ecosystem.
• Improve communication, integration, reuse, and automation of organizational data flows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data management, computer science, information systems, mathematics, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–4 years of experience in data integration, data modeling, solutions architecture, optimization, and data quality.
• Knowledge of business systems, processes, analytics objectives, data governance, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, and Data Science platforms.
• Thorough understanding of relational and non-relational databases, SQL, data architecture frameworks, metadata models, taxonomies, and ontologies.
• Experience working across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployment environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience launching, planning, and executing data architecture projects.
• Experience onboarding, mentoring, and coaching staff.
• Experience establishing team strategy and managing analytics projects.
