Senior Data Architect

Location: Richfield, Ohio, USA; hybrid with on-site work required at least three days per week and up to two remote days. Core in-office days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

What you will do

• Define and govern conceptual, logical, and physical enterprise data architectures, data flows, and integration strategies.
• Lead the design and governance of data integration solutions and optimize databases, data warehouses, and analytical environments.
• Establish standards for data modeling, metadata, data quality, security, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze data acquisition, access, and usage requirements to support data-driven decisions and effective data solutions.
• Evaluate emerging data technologies and maintain documentation for architecture, standards, and governance processes.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, lead workshops and advisory sessions, and provide technical guidance and mentorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• Generally, at least 14 years of experience in data architecture, data management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in data modeling, database design, SQL, ETL processes, and data integration tools.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, communication, and consultative skills.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Informatica Cloud, Snowflake, ODS, or ETO.
• Progress toward a professional designation such as Certified Data Management Professional or AWS Certified Big Data – Specialty.
