Data Platform Solutions Lead (AI)

Location: Hybrid in New York City or Austin, with a minimum of 3 office days per week

Salary: $170,000–$200,000 annual base salary for candidates located in New York, New York, plus performance bonus and benefits

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable data models for analytics, reporting, and downstream applications.
• Drive data governance initiatives, including ownership, quality standards, cataloging, and discoverability.
• Partner with Data Engineering to prepare governed data assets for downstream integration.
• Build internal tools, data products, AI-assisted workflows, and automation that improve access to data.
• Define data quality checks, identify inconsistencies, and coordinate resolution across pipelines.
• Document data assets, business definitions, and architectural decisions while translating stakeholder needs into practical solutions.

Requirements

• Experience applying AI tools to data governance, data modeling, analytics, or pipeline development.
• Background in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data architecture, ideally in financial services or fintech.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Snowflake for data warehousing and transformation.
• Hands-on experience with dbt for data modeling and workflow management.
• Working knowledge of data governance concepts and tooling.
• Strong communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with DataHub, Collibra, or Alation.
• Familiarity with Python for data processing or automation.
• Experience with Tableau or other BI and data visualization tools.
