Senior Strategic Finance Analyst

Salary: $126,220–$151,470 USD annually

What you will do

• Partner with Product and Customer Support leadership on budgets, spending decisions, risks, trade-offs, and reallocations.
• Own annual operating plans, headcount and hiring plans, vendor and program spend, and quarterly reforecasts.
• Lead monthly close, accruals, variance analysis, and budget-versus-actual reporting.
• Build portfolio-level product investment views combining product spend, cost of revenue, unit economics, and roadmap funding implications.
• Develop cost-to-serve analytics for support costs by account and segment, including AI-assisted support and deflection economics.
• Build business cases for product investments, roadmap decisions, product consolidation, pricing, packaging, and monetization changes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, product finance, investment banking, or consulting.
• Experience owning a financial model or forecast and an operating expense budget or organizational spend.
• Strong driver-based revenue, operating expense, and headcount modeling skills.
• Working knowledge of software and subscription metrics including ARR, NRR, ARPA, expansion, and gross margin.
• Comfort working with large, complex datasets; SQL proficiency is strongly preferred.
• Ability to turn analysis into recommendations and present to Product, Support, and senior leadership.

Nice to have

• Product or Engineering finance experience in software, data infrastructure, or developer tools.
• Product margin, cost of revenue, or cost-to-serve analysis experience.
• Experience with usage-based pricing, packaging, or monetization modeling.
• Experience with Pigment, Looker, Tableau, Sigma, Python, or SQL automation.
• Experience supporting rapid scaling or IPO preparation.
