What you will do
- Lead the charging engineering team, set priorities, manage delivery plans, and ensure predictable execution.
- Translate customer, stakeholder, and product requirements into technical designs and actionable development tasks.
- Own the technical direction of the charging domain, balancing delivery needs with resilience, scalability, and maintainability.
- Design and communicate solution architectures, including technical impact, dependencies, effort, and resource requirements.
- Guide design reviews, code reviews, engineering decisions, configuration work, Diameter integrations, monitoring, and event-rating accuracy.
- Drive capacity planning, performance tuning, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, security, networking, and operational readiness.
Requirements
- Technical leadership and people-management experience as a team lead, engineering lead, or in a similar role.
- Deep hands-on expertise in real-time rating, online charging, offline charging mediation, and telecom or subscription-based billing flows.
- Strong knowledge of the Diameter protocol, network integration patterns, rating scenarios, monitoring, and event-level troubleshooting.
- Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, automated testing, DevOps practices, deployment stability, and operational support.
- Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki, plus strong communication, mentoring, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English is required; the CV must be submitted in English.
