Senior Software Engineer - Salesforce

Location: US - Remote

Salary: $97,290.00–$126,500.00 annually, with potential geographic premium, discretionary incentive, and equity awards.

What you will do

• Develop Apex classes, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce solutions to support business requirements.
• Configure Salesforce workflows, approval processes, case management, entitlements, and assignment rules.
• Integrate internal and external services and maintain business applications connected to Salesforce.
• Collaborate with Salesforce teams and stakeholders to validate requirements and address security, scalability, and governor-limit considerations.
• Document solutions, communicate delivery status and open issues, and resolve problems independently.
• Assist Product Owners with feature definition and translation of technical requirements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Salesforce development or cloud experience and 10+ years of enterprise-level software development experience.
• Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud knowledge, including user management, case management, API integration, reports, dashboards, and the Salesforce development lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce.
• Experience integrating services through Salesforce capabilities and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Ability to work independently, gather requirements, write and critique technical specifications, and present solutions to stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II certification.
• Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder certification.
• Experience with Experience Cloud, Agentforce, AI/ML integrations, or generative AI.
• Experience with JavaScript, SQL, and REST/SOAP-based web services.
• Active participation in the Salesforce community.
