Underwriting Associate, Australia (Cyber Insurance)

What you will do

• Answer questions from insurance brokers and policyholders through email, live chat, and occasionally by phone.
• Coordinate customer assistance with underwriting, business development, security, and claims teams.
• Educate brokers about cyber insurance products and the online quoting platform.
• Enter manual submissions, issue Certificates of Currency, and process policy date changes.
• Work with colleagues to implement product and organizational changes that reduce customer pain points.

Requirements

• Previous customer support or customer service experience, or a strong willingness to learn.
• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in broker-facing work.
• Resourceful, enthusiastic, and positive approach to customer service.
• Interest in developing a career in the insurance industry.
• Must be located in Australia.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zendesk.
• Prior insurance experience.
• Experience supporting brokers or working in channel sales.
• Experience working in a startup environment.
