What you will do

  • Lodge new insurance claims and determine coverage through policy interpretation and analysis.
  • Manage customer, supplier, and third-party enquiries via multiple channels.
  • Negotiate and collect customer excess payments while educating clients on options.
  • Ensure financial outcomes are accurate by applying correct policy limits and legislation.
  • Handle complaints and correspondence within agreed timeframes.
  • Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or near Melbourne, Australia.
  • 1-2 years of experience in general insurance preferred.
  • Previous experience in a call center or high-pressure customer service environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Must have a dedicated private work area with reliable internet and an active landline.

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, or Commerce.
