Junior Algorithm Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Caesarea, Israel; travel to centers in Caesarea and Herzliya may be required.

Develops and manufactures medical-device technologies, including the WatchPAT family of FDA-cleared home sleep apnea tests.

What you will do

• Develop machine-learning and signal-processing algorithms for proprietary biological signals.
• Analyze and interpret clinical-trial data.
• Participate in feasibility testing for new technologies.
• Set up experiments involving new sensors and medical devices.
• Collaborate across technology, science, and clinical disciplines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in biomedical or electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related science from a university or the Technion.
• Programming skills in Matlab and Python.
• At least basic skills in C/C++.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team, with a strong willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Experience with biological signals or the medical-device industry, including internship or student experience.
• Background in biostatistics.
• Hands-on experience with experimental setups.
• Interest in learning physiology and medical topics.
