Location: San Francisco, California, with remote candidates accepted in other cities around Northern California

Salary: $219,100–$301,300 USD per year, with potential annual performance bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Define and direct technical strategies for large enterprise accounts in partnership with Enterprise Account Executives.
• Guide customers through evaluating and adopting Databricks as part of their data and AI strategy.
• Act as the primary technical voice for multiple clients and align account strategies around Databricks solutions.
• Drive adoption of machine learning and AI across high-tech and manufacturing use cases.
• Build technical champion networks and establish virtual teams within customer accounts.
• Mentor other team members and provide technical leadership across engagements.

Requirements

• Experienced pre-sales professional with a successful track record helping large enterprises become more data-driven.
• Experience working with very large global accounts exceeding $1 million ARR.
• Strong background in value selling, technical account management, and technical leadership.
• Technical expertise in big data, data science, cloud, and data-driven business transformation.
• Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java.
• Ability to establish relationships with executives and influencers and present compelling technical points of view.
