Forward Deployed Agent Engineer, New Grad (AI)

Location: New York, NY; hybrid

Salary: $100,000–$160,000 annually, with potential variable compensation, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and deploy security-focused AI agents that reason over large datasets and interact with security systems.
• Own customer implementations end-to-end, including data ingestion, transformation pipelines, configuration, workflow design, and feature extensions.
• Evaluate and ship text, voice, and multimodal AI models in production environments.
• Work directly with customer security teams to integrate agents with their tools, processes, and data sources.
• Identify cross-customer trends and turn field insights into platform improvements and new capabilities.
• Debug deep in the stack, investigate edge cases, and ensure enterprise-grade reliability and performance.

Requirements

• Graduation in December 2026 or Spring 2027 with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Go, TypeScript, or Java.
• Strong software fundamentals, including experience building and shipping real projects and debugging failures.
• Strong communication skills for translating between technical and non-technical contexts.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity, take end-to-end ownership, and prioritize customer outcomes.

Nice to have

• Internship or project experience in customer-facing, forward-deployed, or consulting engineering roles.
• Experience in early-stage startups with ambiguous scope and cross-functional responsibilities.
• Familiarity with multimodal AI models, enterprise SaaS, security operations, or large-scale data pipelines.
