Laboratory Technician (Biotechnology)

Location: Depew, New York, United States

Salary: $20.77–$32.45 per hour, plus bonus eligibility, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Perform manual and automated laboratory procedures, analytical testing, and production support in accordance with SOPs, cGMP requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Interpret test results and troubleshoot routine laboratory, equipment, process, and quality issues.
• Maintain bacterial clones, biological materials, reagents, consumables, equipment, and laboratory workspaces.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and verification.
• Document test results, procedures, observations, and production data, and assist with reports, protocols, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional teams while supporting continuous improvement and process optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ability to follow detailed laboratory procedures, SOPs, documentation requirements, and cGMP standards.
• Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and biological materials handling.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, communication skills, and commitment to safety and quality.
• Basic computer proficiency and data-entry skills.
• Ability to work independently on routine assignments and contribute effectively as part of a team.

Nice to have

• 1–3 years of related experience.
• Experience with pipets and DNA.
• Coursework or experience in biotechnology, microbiology, biology, chemistry, laboratory sciences, manufacturing, or a regulated industry.
