Specialist, Quality Control Analytical

Location: Onsite in Dunkirk, New York, United States; flexibility to work off-hours may be required.

Salary: $33.65–$37.00 per hour, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus and equity award.

What you will do

• Provide in-process and suitability-for-use testing support for fusion proteins, cell therapies, and cancer vaccine programs.
• Support analytical method development, optimization, and investigational studies.
• Perform wet chemistry, chromatography, spectroscopy, and ELISA testing.
• Conduct complex troubleshooting and investigations.
• Create testing protocols and reports.
• Maintain laboratory operations, records, quality documentation, change controls, SOPs, and test method updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry or a related discipline with 4+ years of biotechnology industry experience, or a master’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience in a cGMP laboratory.
• Knowledge of QC testing requirements, analytical methods, laboratory equipment, cGMP, FDA, and USP regulations.
• Basic understanding of statistics and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly interactive environment.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with HPLC and ELISA.
