Biotechnologist I (Nights - A Shift)

Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire, United States — on-site. Rotational night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM; the first two weeks are spent in orientation and training on the day shift.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, and monitor core production equipment and processes, including Clean-in-Place and Steam-in-Place operations.
• Perform basic laboratory work, including pH and conductivity monitoring and product sampling.
• Transfer raw materials and chemicals accurately between production areas.
• Document production activities in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices.
• Maintain clean, organized, and ready facilities and equipment through sanitization and 6S activities.
• Maintain task qualifications and training plans while participating in shift exchanges, meetings, email, and other administrative duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in a science-related field preferred.
• Comfort with asking questions and strictly following Standard Operating Procedures.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate task execution and documentation.
• Prior GMP, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical experience is beneficial but not required.
