Sr. Director, HR Technology and AI Enablement

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; hybrid workplace

Base salary: CAD 163,000–181,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Execute the multi-year HR technology roadmap and sequence Workday, Moveworks, ServiceNow Now Assist, Payfactors, Power BI, and Qualtrics against business outcomes.
• Redesign HR workflows and define AI–human handoffs before Workday configuration to enable native automation.
• Lead the end-to-end migration from SAP SuccessFactors to Workday, including configuration, testing, cutover, and hypercare.
• Deploy and monitor conversational and agentic AI, defining automated and human-led workflows while managing vendors, budgets, and contracts.
• Establish HR data governance, improve data quality, and advance people analytics and skills-taxonomy capabilities.
• Lead and reskill the HR technology team while driving adoption, change management, and employee experience improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR technology or HRIS experience, including 5+ years leading and developing teams.
• Experience leading an enterprise HCM implementation or migration, such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise conversational or agentic AI and automation tools, such as Moveworks or ServiceNow Now Assist.
• Strong understanding of large language models, AI agents, prompt design, responsible AI, data governance, privacy, and security.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects, external vendors, technology relationships, and contracts at a half-million-dollar threshold or above.

Nice to have

• Workday certification or ServiceNow HR Service Delivery experience.
• Experience in a high-growth SaaS or technology company and with AI governance or human-in-the-loop frameworks.
• Experience with APIs, iPaaS, enterprise HR data governance, and privacy or security in regulated or healthcare environments.
• UX, service-design, PMP, Prosci, HRIP, CHRP, or SHRM experience or certification.
