Short-Term Level Designer / World Designer – Unreal Engine (Unreal Engine 5)

Salary: $3,000–$8,000 monthly

What you will do

• Build and iterate playable spaces and experiences directly in Unreal Engine 5.
• Translate established product pillars, broad direction, and technical constraints into playable content.
• Design player flow, pacing, spatial layouts, and gameplay experiences.
• Work with existing game systems and assets to support For the Stars, an Unreal Engine 5 game in development.
• Deliver work for review at defined milestones during the engagement.

Requirements

• Professional experience in level design or world design.
• Strong hands-on experience with Unreal Engine 5.
• Ability to independently turn broad direction into playable content.
• Strong spatial design, player flow, pacing, and gameplay judgment.
• Comfort working directly with existing systems and assets.
• Portfolio or shipped work demonstrating implemented game content.

Nice to have

• Blueprint or light scripting experience.
