What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of level designers, fostering professional development.
• Drive the creative vision and execution of levels to support gameplay, narrative, and artistic goals.
• Collaborate with environment artists, narrative designers, and systems designers.
• Review level layouts, encounter balance, and worldbuilding consistency.
• Contribute hands-on to level blockouts, encounter scripting, and gameplay prototyping.
• Establish and refine level design workflows and pipelines for scalability and efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional level design experience in the game industry.
• 2+ years of experience in a lead or senior design role.
• Proven track record of shipping at least one title in a senior or leadership capacity.
• Experience with level design tools in engines such as Unity or Unreal.
• Strong communication and documentation skills for a remote-first environment.
• Deep understanding of encounter design, pacing, and player progression.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ARPGs and live-service pipelines.
• Experience with multi-team collaboration.
