Senior Civil Drafter

Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia; hybrid working options available

hirify.global is a design partner delivering major Melbourne transport infrastructure programs, including Melbourne Airport Rail, level crossing removals, bridge projects, and the SRL East orbital rail network.

What you will do

• Complete civil designs and drafting work for NWPA and SRL infrastructure projects.
• Use ORD, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D design software.
• Collaborate with project supervisors, engineers, project managers, junior staff, and other drafters.
• Prepare accurate design deliverables across different project stages.
• Support the preparation of electrical design deliverables where required.
• Apply design standards while balancing practicality and innovation.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in major infrastructure projects.
• Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering design or drafting, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
• High competency in ORD design software.
• Experience with civil design and drafting software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
• Developed design experience and knowledge of relevant design standards.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with engineers, project managers, and drafters.

Nice to have

• Experience with MicroStation design software.
• Experience with 12D design software.
