Accounting Data Entry Specialist (Automotive)

Location: Permanent work from home; Monday to Friday with flexible hours and required overlap with EST business hours. Day or night shifts may be required.

What you will do

• Clean up invoice records in Lightspeed DMS by washing out invoices and moving zero balances.
• Process vendor invoices and apply them accurately in the dealership point-of-sale system.
• Match invoice entries and maintain consistency across accounting records.
• Perform daily accounting and bookkeeping data-entry tasks while keeping financial data organized.
• Resolve data discrepancies and questions with the accounting office.
• Complete invoice processing accurately within established timelines.

Requirements

• Proven data-entry experience with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Background in accounting or bookkeeping data-entry tasks.
• Experience processing vendor invoices and accounts payable.
• Ability to learn and navigate point-of-sale and accounting software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable internet, a professional home office, strong communication skills, and flexibility for day or night shifts with EST overlap.

Nice to have

• Experience with automotive or powersports industry systems.
• Experience with Lightspeed DMS or similar point-of-sale software.
• Experience working remotely with US-based clients.
• Familiarity with dealership management systems.
