Procurement Manager (Food & Beverage)

Location: Hybrid in Kemptthal, Switzerland, or Memmingen, Germany

What you will do

• Drive and execute the procurement strategy for indirect procurement and CAPEX.
• Lead strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, cost optimisation, and complex commercial negotiations across indirect spend categories.
• Manage the commercial side of CAPEX investments, including tendering, supplier and contractor selection, negotiation, and contracting.
• Apply Total Cost of Ownership principles across acquisition, installation, commissioning, maintenance, service, energy consumption, and lifecycle costs.
• Improve Procure-to-Pay processes, procurement policies, contract management, supplier governance, and ERP master data.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, and other stakeholders on indirect spend and CAPEX projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent vocational qualification and relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in Procurement, Category Management, or Strategic Sourcing.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing and complex commercial negotiations across indirect spend categories.
• Strong commercial, analytical, numbers-driven, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced MS Office skills and hands-on ERP experience; Business Central is a plus.
• Fluent German and English are required.

• Experience in the food and beverage or packaging industry.
• Experience with CAPEX procurement, construction, production equipment, or industrial investment projects.
• Experience with Business Central.
