OT Cybersecurity Compliance Lead – EMEA Projects and Systems

Base pay ranges: Italy: €55,125–€80,850; Lithuania: €54,000–€79,200. Final compensation depends on location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

What you will do

• Translate the EU Cyber Resilience Act and Machinery Regulation requirements into auditable engineering and project requirements for operational technology systems.
• Embed cybersecurity gates across solution design, engineering, FAT/SAT, commissioning, handover, and ongoing operation.
• Author and review security requirements, architectures, risk assessments, handover documentation, and operations and maintenance security baselines.
• Apply ISA/IEC 62443 through zones and conduits, network segmentation, secure remote access, hardening, patching, and backup strategies.
• Conduct OT risk assessments, security testing, assurance reviews, and audit activities while tracking findings and mitigations to closure.
• Provide OT cybersecurity guidance, training, and incident-readiness support to project, engineering, compliance, customer, and supplier stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, automation, computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity or industrial automation, ideally in systems integration, intralogistics, manufacturing, or an OEM environment.
• Working knowledge of ISA/IEC 62443 and OT/ICS security fundamentals, including network segmentation, hardening, secure remote access, and OT/IT interfaces.
• Familiarity with the EU Cyber Resilience Act, Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, and NIS2.
• Experience with material handling systems, PLCs, SCADA, industrial networks, cybersecurity lifecycle integration, technical reporting, and compliance audits.
• Fluent English required; willingness to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• ISA/IEC 62443 certification, GICSP, or an equivalent OT-security credential.
