Lead Product Designer (AI)

Location: Remote-only; collaboration across time zones in a highly asynchronous environment.

Salary: $140,000–$170,000 USD per year, with U.S.-benchmarked compensation globally and company equity.

What you will do

• Own design for a product area end to end, from identifying opportunities and framing problems to setting direction and shipping experiences.
• Design complex, multi-step flows for multiple user types while balancing creator needs and member experience.
• Prototype and test concepts quickly using AI-assisted tools, code-generation workflows, and realistic clickable prototypes.
• Influence product strategy, contribute to roadmap discussions, and identify opportunities across the product.
• Drive interaction design, visual quality, and craft standards while collaborating with engineers and design engineers.
• Raise the quality bar for the broader design team through feedback, frameworks, and strong individual output.

Requirements

• English proficiency at CEFR Level C2 / ILR Level 5 is required.
• 5–7+ years of product design experience, including shipped 0→1 work, systems-level thinking, and complex multi-user flows.
• Experience serving as the most senior designer for a product area, setting direction, making trade-offs, and owning outcomes independently.
• Strong prototyping skills and proficiency in Figma for high-fidelity design and collaboration.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence decisions asynchronously.
• Active experience using AI tools in the design process and comfort working through ambiguity and iteration.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted prototyping tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, v0, or Lovable.
