Quality Assurance Inspector (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished aerospace products for conformity with requirements.
• Review engineering drawings, blueprints, work instructions, specifications, and inspection records.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, borescopes, and other precision measurement and test equipment.
• Document inspection results, prepare nonconformance reports, and support corrective action activities.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve quality concerns.
• Support audits, quality checks, product and process qualification, inspection planning, and traceability activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience, or a Bachelor of Science in engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of related experience; 7+ years of aerospace inspection or quality experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with inspection tools, measuring equipment, and quality documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and nonconformance processes is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing, MRO, or aviation maintenance.
• Experience with first article, receiving, or final inspection.
