Senior Backend / Platform Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote for candidates based in Poland, Czechia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Romania, or France; potential future hybrid work in Prague.

What you will do

• Design and build scalable, resilient, and secure microservices, backend APIs, and RESTful or GraphQL services.
• Integrate business databases, third-party services, legacy platforms, and AI systems.
• Optimize latency, throughput, and resource allocation for real-time AI workloads.
• Implement authentication, authorization, RBAC, rate limiting, and secure service-to-service cloud integrations.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to deploy models and services in unified containerized environments.
• Apply Git, CI/CD, integration testing, code reviews, and engineering quality standards.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of professional backend, platform, or software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on development experience with Python and/or Node.
• Experience building scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-based applications and microservices.
• Experience designing RESTful or GraphQL APIs and integrating cloud-hosted services, APIs, and data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise authentication, authorization, and RBAC.
• Fluent professional English is required.
