Senior Python Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Develop a data and cloud migration framework for moving on-premise software assets to Snowflake and Azure.
• Support migrations and maintain the team’s software solutions and infrastructure.
• Design, develop, test, and launch new and enhanced software solutions.
• Establish software and data engineering best practices for deployment and cloud asset management.
• Gather requirements, create documentation, track delivery status, and provide estimates.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers, participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews, and investigate new technologies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with Python, REST APIs, and SQL.
• Experience with Git, unit testing with Pytest, and relational databases.
• Experience engineering medium-to-large software systems and building frontend/backend applications at scale.
• Intermediate design proficiency with UML, C4, or ArchiMate.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Proficiency in English required.

Nice to have

• Python web frameworks such as Flask.
• Workflow orchestration platforms such as Apache Airflow or Automic Automation.
• Python package management with UV or Conda.
• HTTP, JSON, XML, software composition analysis platforms, AI coding agents, SDLC, and object-oriented programming.
