TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Python) (Python, Azure/AWS, Microservices): Designing and developing software features and RESTful services with an accent on cloud platforms, containerization, database design, and code quality. Focus on building microservices, applying TDD and unit testing, and delivering reliable solutions that meet client needs.

Location: Hybrid work in Wrocław, Katowice, Poznań, or Kraków, Poland; the hybrid model begins after onboarding.

What you will do

Design and develop new software features using Python and frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
Build and integrate RESTful services, microservices, cloud-based solutions, and containerized applications.
Work with Azure or AWS services, Docker, Kubernetes, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
Apply TDD, unit testing, code reviews, and quality standards to deliver clean, maintainable code.
Collaborate with the Scrum Master and development team to address client needs.
Contribute to recruitment activities and department initiatives as an interviewer or participant.

Requirements

Hands-on Python development experience with Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
Experience designing REST APIs and RESTful services.
Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases, microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutions, preferably Azure.
Knowledge of TDD, unit testing, code reviews, Git, Linux concepts, and console commands.
Fluent English is required.

Nice to have

Experience with Azure data services such as Databricks, ADF, or Data Lake Storage, or equivalent AWS services.
Java experience.
Frontend experience with Angular or Vue.
Experience using or developing AI tools and AI agents, including Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
