Credit Risk Analyst (FinTech)

Location: Hybrid in Warsaw, Poland

What you will do

• Perform in-depth analysis of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow, business models, sector dynamics, and financial performance.
• Conduct underwriting and credit assessments for new and existing merchants across key accounts, travel, and hospitality.
• Present credit proposals to divisional and group risk committees.
• Review assigned credit limits periodically and recommend risk classes, limit changes, and collateral structures.
• Partner with business development on merchant onboarding and communicate with CFO- and treasurer-level stakeholders.
• Review legal documents, exercise credit risk signing authority, and coach team members.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in financial analysis and corporate risk assessments.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, financial and cash-flow analysis, and accounting principles.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced, changing environment and support other team members.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or business economics.
• Experience or knowledge in payments and FinTech.
