Director of Member Experience

Location: Meridian, Idaho, United States; full-time, indoor/outdoor club setting with variable schedules including evenings, holidays, and extended hours.

Salary: $55,000–$60,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and promote educational and recreational programs and events for members of all ages, with a focus on youth.
• Lead creative and inclusive programming aligned with the club’s mission.
• Hire, train, supervise, and provide coverage for youth-program staff.
• Manage the lifestyle department budget, scheduling, registrations, attendance tracking, and reporting.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Golf, Tennis, Aquatics, and Marketing teams to deliver integrated events.
• Evaluate programs using member feedback and performance metrics, while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education, event management, or recreation preferred.
• At least two years of related experience in childcare and events.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Experience developing and implementing educational programs, plus knowledge of age-appropriate activities.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet applications.
• Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, emergency-response, and team-working skills; ability to work hands-on with minimal direction.
