Senior Fund Accountant, Private Equity

Salary: CAD 72,000–CAD 105,600 yearly

What you will do

• Provide fund accounting services to private equity clients, including NAV preparation, accrual booking, security pricing, and cash and position reconciliations.
• Price portfolios in accordance with fund documents and valuation policies.
• Calculate and allocate capital calls, distributions, management fees, and waterfall structures.
• Prepare investor allocations for NAV cycles, ensuring capital transactions and P&L are recorded correctly.
• Prepare NAV packages, financial statements, audit support, regulatory services, and other client deliverables.
• Coordinate requests and deliverables with internal MUFG teams and external clients.

Requirements

• University degree or a professional designation such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA is considered an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Prior fund accounting experience is desired but not required.
