.NET Software Architect (Fintech): Modernizing a core banking and reconciliation platform from a tightly coupled .NET monolith to MVC architecture with an accent on ASP.NET Core, Azure integrations, and test-driven business-rule migration. Focus on designing resilient integrations across 15–20 remote databases, hardening REST APIs, applying AI-assisted development workflows, and driving shift-left QA.

What you will do
- Own end-to-end technical delivery across the ASP.NET Core and Razor Pages front end and the C# and MS SQL Server back end.
- Lead the discovery, testing, and migration of business rules from stored procedures and application code to a test-driven validation layer.
- Drive the transition from a tightly coupled .NET monolith to modern MVC architecture and strengthen the API layer toward REST.
- Design resilient integrations with 15–20 remote databases using Azure App Configuration and Key Vault.
- Use Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and the Zcora instruction framework for AI-assisted delivery with human review and validation.
- Act as the primary technical contact for client stakeholders and drive shift-left QA through Playwright automation, SonarQube quality gates, and Three Amigos sessions.
Requirements
- Strong current expertise in C#/.NET, Azure, ASP.NET Core/MVC, Razor Pages, Telerik UI components, and MS SQL Server.
- Proven experience modernizing legacy monoliths and migrating tightly coupled full-stack systems to MVC architecture.
- Principal-level stakeholder management, proactive communication, expectation-setting, and technical delivery ownership.
- Hands-on experience with AI-augmented, agentic engineering workflows such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
- Experience with Azure App Configuration and Key Vault infrastructure.
- Comfort working in regulated financial services or private equity environments.
Nice to have
- Experience with Playwright and SonarQube.
- GitHub experience, including migrations from Azure DevOps.
- Background in private equity, fund administration, or financial-services technology.
