Senior Data Analyst (SQL/dbt/Looker)

What you will do

• Partner with Finance and Payments to build, refine, and maintain financial metrics, data models, and dashboards.
• Own end-to-end analysis, from clarifying business questions and writing SQL/dbt models to building Looker dashboards and presenting insights.
• Develop dashboards for financial planning, revenue analysis, cost insights, and transaction-level reporting.
• Maintain and evolve core financial data models in dbt while troubleshooting data quality issues and validating calculations.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into clear technical solutions and collaborate with Product, Support, and Marketing.
• Support data architecture modernization through modeling, documentation, QA, and performance tuning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst in a high-growth or complex product environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, dbt, and Looker, including complex queries, data modeling, and dashboard development.
• Experience working with Finance stakeholders, including FP&A, Accounting, Payments, or Revenue Operations.
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical topics and financial logic to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to take ownership, work independently, and drive projects from concept to delivery.
• High attention to detail in reconciliation, financial logic, metric definitions, QA, and version control with GitHub.
