Software Engineer (Machine Learning)

hirify.global is Electronic Arts' proprietary game engine, providing tools and technology for creating games including EA SPORTS and Battlefield.

What you will do

• Evaluate, adapt, extend, and improve runtime machine learning technologies for deployment in games.
• Design and implement new solutions for running ML models across a variety of devices.
• Partner with ML experts, game teams, technology engineers, and researchers to assess and scale models for on-device performance.
• Write clean, documented, tested C++ code that integrates with existing engine systems.
• Communicate ML concepts, trade-offs, risks, and technical constraints to different audiences.
• Contribute to ML and AI communities through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and mentoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with C++, including multithreading and performance optimization.
• Experience profiling and optimizing real-time software and building production ML systems end to end.
• Knowledge of ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Knowledge of GPU programming and ONNX or other intermediate representations for ML model graphs.
• Experience with game programming and software engineering practices including version control, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, issue tracking, and Agile development.
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience.
