Data Engineer (Web3)

Location: Remote - Global; fully remote

What you will do

• Architect and maintain scalable, secure AWS data infrastructure using Databricks.
• Design, develop, and maintain data ingestion and ETL pipelines with Airbyte and custom Go services.
• Build and manage the data lake, including storage organization, partitioning, performance, monitoring, and alerting.
• Integrate Airbyte with diverse data sources and develop custom Go connectors where required.
• Optimize pipelines and data lake storage for low latency, scalability, and high availability.
• Collaborate with platform engineers, data analysts, and stakeholders while documenting infrastructure and processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer focused on data lake architecture and ETL pipeline development.
• Strong experience with Databricks and AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and IAM.
• Hands-on experience with Airbyte or similar ETL tools.
• Experience writing data pipeline services and connectors in Python or Go.
• Solid knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and database concepts.
• Experience implementing cloud data governance and security practices.
