Data Analyst (Defence)

Location: Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia. Australian citizenship and a minimum AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance are required.

What you will do

• Support project managers with cost estimation, financial analysis, and project performance reporting.
• Analyse financial, resource, and performance data and maintain mandated project management and reporting systems.
• Provide resource management support to JP2087 sub-project teams.
• Analyse approved program contract data against Additional Estimate and Budget Estimate allocations.
• Support budget submissions, monthly financial management, and consolidation of sub-project data.
• Prepare monthly program performance reports covering financial health, trends, risks, and opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience in data analysis, financial analysis, project controls, or project management support within a complex organisation.
• Strong ability to interpret financial, resource, and performance data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar analysis and reporting tools.
• Experience with project management, financial management, or enterprise reporting systems.
• Strong attention to detail, prioritisation, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Australian citizenship and a minimum AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance are required.
