Project Management Consultant (IT)

What you will do

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and mitigation actions.
• Establish project governance and facilitate project meetings, steering committees, workshops, and status updates.
• Coordinate business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and external partners through project completion and handover.
• Facilitate communication between Japanese- and English-speaking teams, including translating project requirements, technical discussions, decisions, and project materials.
• Support the conversion of business requirements into high-level technical and delivery requirements, including alignment on solution design, technical architecture, integrations, and implementation strategies.
• Support Proof of Concept and Proof of Value activities, including scope definition, planning, execution, and success measurement.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of project management experience in IT, digital transformation, system implementation, or related projects.
• Experience managing cross-functional and multicultural teams and coordinating business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluent English and Japanese required.
