TL;DR
Partnership and Membership Coordinator (Humanitarian Development): Strengthening and expanding the Alliance of Ukrainian Civil Society Organisationsβ membership network and partnerships across Ukraine with an accent on membership development, stakeholder coordination, and locally led action. Focus on designing partnership strategies, coordinating civil society organisations and public authorities, and providing technical guidance to improve network performance.
Location: Kyiv, Ukraine. Project-based assignment from 1 September 2026 to 30 June 2027.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain membership criteria, processes, and approaches aligned with the Allianceβs objectives and values.
- Strengthen and expand the Allianceβs national and local civil society network.
- Design and implement partnership and network development strategies that support collaboration, learning, and resource sharing.
- Coordinate Alliance members and support the planning and delivery of member and partner activities.
- Build relationships with civil society organisations, community representatives, public authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical advice, mentoring, reporting, and strategic guidance to strengthen member organisations and network performance.
Requirements
- Masterβs degree in social sciences, human rights, development studies, or a related field, or a bachelorβs degree with additional relevant experience.
- At least five years of relevant experience in partnership management, programme development, network coordination, or organisational development.
- Experience managing partnerships within membership organisations, civil society networks, or multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strong understanding of the humanitarian, development, and peacebuilding sectors, including strategy, coordination, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy.
- Experience working with civil society organisations, INGOs, UN agencies, donors, or development partners, supported by networking, mentoring, and facilitation skills.
- Fluency in Ukrainian and a high standard of spoken and written English required.
