Senior Manager, Consumer Solutions (Fintech)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; at least 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Plan and implement Malaysia growth strategies for emerging and strategic consumer payment capabilities, including Flexible Credentials, agentic commerce, and stablecoin-related solutions.
• Develop go-to-market plans by identifying client use cases, value propositions, commercialization opportunities, and product priorities.
• Lead commercialization of issuing and acceptance products that enable seamless consumer payments and broader merchant acceptance.
• Shape Malaysia’s strategy for AI-enabled commerce, tokenized credentials, consumer consent, authentication, trusted agent interactions, and ecosystem readiness.
• Build client-facing thought leadership, product narratives, strategy papers, business cases, and executive presentations on future commerce.
• Collaborate with hirify.global functions, regional and global product teams, issuers, fintechs, wallets, acquirers, merchants, and ecosystem partners to deliver pilots, product launches, and payment volume growth.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in the payments industry and business.
• Extensive experience designing, developing, and launching payments products in Malaysia.
• Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, data interpretation, communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Malaysia’s payments landscape, including banks, wallets, e-money issuers, acquirers, PayNet, DuitNow QR, contactless payments, and regulatory trends.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders across banks, fintechs, merchants, acquirers, or technology partners.
• Availability to work from the Kuala Lumpur office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in retail or digital banking, payments consulting, merchant acquiring, digital wallets, card issuing, product strategy, or payment innovation.
• Exposure to AI, agentic commerce, digital identity, blockchain, stablecoins, tokenized deposits, or digital asset payment infrastructure.
• Experience creating client-ready materials and managing competing priorities to achieve commercial outcomes.
