Backend .NET Software Engineer (Gaming)

Location: Hybrid work in Malaga, Spain. Up to 10 days per year may be worked remotely from abroad.

What you will do

• Build and evolve a scalable, multi-brand gaming platform supporting 25+ online brands.
• Develop gaming features covering gameplay, game discovery, game lobbies, gaming initiatives, and provider integrations.
• Prepare the platform for containerization and improve system scalability and quality.
• Re-evaluate system design to accommodate new requirements and deliver new features.
• Collaborate with colleagues, offer support, and share technical knowledge.

Requirements

• Backend development experience with C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core 8.
• Experience with .NET Core Web API, SQL Server, and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of messaging services within a microservice architecture.
• Experience with GitHub, GitFlow, and Agile development.
• Confidence in written and spoken English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Experience with Docker containerization and Domain-Driven Design.
