Software Engineer, Fund Solutions (.NET) (.NET/fund administration): Designing and maintaining scalable integrations between business applications with an accent on .NET development, APIs, middleware, cloud services, and data integrity. What you will do
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable application integrations using C# and .NET technologies.
- Build secure RESTful APIs, OpenAPI integrations, SOAP web services, microservices, and middleware solutions.
- Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, customers, partners, and peers to translate requirements into robust solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration platforms, application performance, data flow, and build and release processes.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases while ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with data protection requirements.
- Contribute to squad backlog prioritization, design patterns, technical guidance, training, and iterative delivery through Agile practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of software development experience focused on application integrations.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and familiarity with the .NET Framework and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with API design, REST, OpenAPI, SOAP, integration patterns, middleware, message brokers, and cloud-based integrations.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Ability to work with Agile methodologies, solve problems, communicate effectively, and manage multiple projects.
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, automated testing, test-driven development, and continuous integration and delivery.
- Knowledge of Azure, AWS, Azure DevOps, Git, and message broker services such as Azure Service Bus or RabbitMQ.
- Understanding of domain-driven design, service design, SOLID principles, architectural design, and fundamental AI concepts.
