What you will do
- Develop AI-powered applications for manufacturing productivity, engineering efficiency, troubleshooting, knowledge management, and process support.
- Support Agentic AI and LLM solutions using prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and workflow automation.
- Analyze manufacturing, quality, and operational data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Build interactive dashboards, visualizations, and automated data collection, processing, and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing partners on factory workflows, process reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage project milestones and deliverables, present findings to engineering leadership, and document technical solutions.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, information systems, or a related technical discipline.
- Year 3 undergraduate students are preferred.
- Basic programming experience in Python or similar languages.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal communication, written communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience or coursework in data analytics, data visualization, machine learning, artificial intelligence, LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents, or agentic workflows.
- Experience or coursework with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, API integration, automation, manufacturing systems, Industrial IoT, MES, or factory automation.
