TL;DR
AI Intern (LLM/Machine Learning): Researching and supporting the development of AI solutions for the card payment industry with an accent on LLM evaluation, data preprocessing, model fine-tuning, and AI API integration. Focus on experimenting with LoRA, quantization, and distillation while aligning AI infrastructure with PCI-DSS and GDPR requirements.
Location: Hybrid, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

What you will do
- Research advancements in large language models and related NLP technologies, and evaluate state-of-the-art methods.
- Collect, clean, and preprocess datasets for model training and evaluation while supporting data quality analysis.
- Design and execute experiments for LLM evaluation, feature selection, model training, hyperparameter tuning, and fine-tuning.
- Help implement AI APIs and microservices for integration with enterprise applications.
- Experiment with LoRA, quantization, and distillation to improve model efficiency.
- Document methodologies and findings, prepare reports and presentations, and participate in technical discussions.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of natural language processing concepts and techniques.
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Familiarity with Pandas and NumPy, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
