College Intern - Packaging Engineering

What you will do

• Support the design and development of packaging solutions for Ink Supplies products.
• Create packaging concepts, specifications, drawings, engineering documentation, and project records.
• Participate in packaging validation and qualification testing, including form, fit, function, shock, vibration, compression, and environmental performance.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize test data, then prepare reports and recommendations for engineering review.
• Support cost reduction, sustainability, efficiency improvement, qualification builds, manufacturing trials, and packaging implementation.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Procurement, Marketing, and NPI teams and present project updates.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Availability for a 5–6 month full-time internship starting in January 2027.
• Internship, academic project, or laboratory experience related to packaging, product development, manufacturing, or testing.
• Basic understanding of packaging design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to organize data and draw practical conclusions.
• Ability to work collaboratively, demonstrate initiative and adaptability, and maintain attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, NX, AutoCAD, TOPS, or similar.
