Azure Software Developer II (Azure)

Location: Remote from India; shift time: 2 pm to 11 pm IST

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain automation and tooling for the Microsoft Azure managed services platform.
• Develop Python and PowerShell scripts, modules, and pipelines for provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and remediation.
• Build and support repeatable Infrastructure-as-Code deployments using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Integrate Azure tooling with monitoring, ticketing, and CI/CD systems to reduce manual operations.
• Troubleshoot production issues across Azure compute, networking, identity, and storage services.
• Contribute to reliability, security hardening, cost optimization, documentation, and platform improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or systems engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including compute, networking, storage, and Entra ID.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and tooling development.
• Proficiency in PowerShell for Azure and Windows Server administration and automation.
• Experience with ARM, Bicep, or Terraform, plus CI/CD tooling and version control such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Git.
• Experience troubleshooting production infrastructure issues under time pressure.
