TL;DR
Software Engineer (AMS) (Java/Oracle): Designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting business-critical CLM/CRM applications and integrated services for financial institutions with an accent on production reliability, troubleshooting, and continuous enhancement. Focus on root cause analysis, implementing permanent software fixes, supporting integration and user acceptance testing, and improving maintainability across cross-functional delivery teams.
Location: Makati City, Philippines; hybrid and flexible working

What you will do
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and support business-critical CLM and CRM applications and integrated third-party services.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents and complex technical issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes to improve reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Service Managers, Product teams, and Project Delivery teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support functional validation, defect fixing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Participate in client workshops, requirements analysis, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- At least 6 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or similar role, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Strong programming, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with RDBMS, Oracle SQL queries, Oracle PL/SQL, and Java; Unix or Python knowledge is valuable.
- Experience with software design, development, testing, version control, and CI/CD concepts.
- Full professional fluency in English, written and verbal, is required.
Nice to have
- Experience in application support, incident management, or service operations.
- Knowledge of CLM, AML, KYC, onboarding, and related third-party solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and Docker or Kubernetes.
- Core knowledge or certification.
- Experience with automation and monitoring tools.
