Financial Controller – COO Domain

Location: Manila, One Ayala Tower 2, Philippines

What you will do

• Review actuals, validate month-end close results, analyze variances, and prepare management reporting for assigned COO domains.
• Maintain accurate cost, FTE, intercompany, and VAT reclaim reporting.
• Prepare evidence-based commentary on financial performance, key movements, risks, and opportunities.
• Review planning and forecasting assumptions against actual performance and business expectations.
• Provide financial insight and constructive challenge to Business Controllers, the Head of Finance, and COO stakeholders.
• Own recurring and ad hoc financial control deliverables while identifying reporting issues, control gaps, and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in Financial Controlling and Planning & Analysis.
• Experience working in complex, cross-functional, matrixed global business environments.
• Expertise in actuals reporting, month-end close review, planning, forecasting, cost management, and variance analysis.
• Strong control mindset with the ability to validate financial movements, challenge inconsistencies, and ensure accurate reporting.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with proficiency in enterprise planning tools such as Hyperion and Oracle EPM.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, CFA, or a master’s degree.
• Power BI, SmartView, or Power Query experience.
